Welcome to Christopher Brown Counselling & Supervised Psychological Services

“Problems that remain persistently insoluble should always be suspected as questions asked in the wrong way”

— ALAN WATTS

I’m glad we’ve met!

My name is Dr. Christopher Brown, and I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in Vancouver, BC. I also provide psychological services (psychotherapy and assessment) under the supervision of Dr. Francoise Botha (CPBC #2277).

I run a small, person-centred practice in the heart of Kitsilano. As a therapist, I strive to support individuals in moving towards finding greater peace in their lives by using a client-centred and developmentally-oriented approach. In my experience, the client-therapist is the key to both growth and change. I look forward to building this connection with you.

I offer a free consultation to all new clients so we can get to know each other better and see if we're a good fit.

Dr. Christopher Brown

A resident of Vancouver for nearly six years, I completed my doctorate at Adler University, working with folks from across Vancouver and BC. As a therapist, I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodiversity (ASD & ADHD), and many other issues. I also specialize in supporting both heterosexual and queer-identifying men with various concerns. I strive to empower my clients as individuals through a variety of techniques such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).

Supervised Psychological Services

I also hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from Adler University; as such, my services may be covered for folks whose insurance coverage does not include RCCs. I also offer psychodiagnostic assessment for various psychological diagnoses (Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, OCD & ADHD).

Please contact me should you be interested in an assessment.
