Assessments
At my practice, I offer psychodiagnostic assessments under the supervision of Dr. Francois Botha.
This type of assessment can be beneficial in providing individuals with a comprehensive understanding of themselves, helping them ascertain if they qualify for a mental health diagnosis, aiding their therapist in creating a personalized treatment plan, and supporting them in obtaining accommodations at work or school.
What is a psychodiagnostic assessment?
When conducting psychodiagnostic assessments, the goal is to determine whether the evaluated individual may be facing a mental health condition and, if so, which treatment strategies might be the most successful. In other words, you can expect this type of assessment to answer the question:
“What mental health conditions might be present (if any) and which treatment strategies would be most beneficial?”

The assessment process will begin with an hour-long intake assessment followed by multiple assessment questionnaires (usually done virtually).
Following this portion of the assessment, I will conduct a clinical interview in order to assess whether the clients meet formal diagnostic criteria.
After this, I will write and deliver a report to you. In the end, we will have a final meeting where I will provide feedback on the findings of the assessment.
